Since I couldn't really decide what to post on my main blog today —Dailimages, accessible here: dailimages.wordpress.com, I decided to post the reject here, because I really love the light on this image, and I like that you can see a bird flying away.

Smokey Hand

Today was the first day where I really couldn't decide on my picture of the day for my other blog (dailimages.wordpress.com) so I decided to post the reject here! 
I was having coffee with a friend when all of a sudden the hand of the stranger next to us, holding a cigarette, caught my eye. I didn't want her to catch me photographing her (and either having to delete or explain etc.), so I could only take one shot. Because of the space heaters behind us, the image was extremely red so I fixed that in post, along with a little reframing.

A little word. I usually never write anything on this blog, but I'm making an exception to tell my 5 readers about this new photo project I'm launching on Sept. 23rd.
