Before The End...

eiffel tower

...Of the French presidency of the EU, the Eiffel Tower in her European dress, as seen from thte "Troca"-Ok so we don't really see what is european on this one (maybe some people have managed to tell the stars apart from the other lights) ! As soon as I get my hand on the color photograph I'll post it !

I finally got it !

yellow cab

I took this picture on the last couple days of our month-long trip -but I'd wanted to take it since we had arrived! The occasion to get this many cabs was given to me inside an architecture exhibit at the MOMA (I was in one of the houses).

Now, I know it may seem a useless pic for many people (new-yorkers in particular) but in Paris there aren't that many cabs and there unmarked cars so you can't really tell them apart, while, in NY, at times it's like a big yellow wave...

Stairway To Heaven...

statue of liberty

More like stairway to the head of the statue of liberty actually. We can't go there anymore though...too bad it should've been fun to walk up those stairs ^^

New York shot

east village

Funny association of words...not sure I would try either one of them there though...

Big Brother

And on the joyful subject of the American Dream, this pic is a close up of the roof of a building near...Canal St I think. I hope you'll notice the piece of equipment next to the flag...again, an interesting parallel in my opinion...

Lady Liberty

This picture was made possible courtesy of the Staten Island Ferry -and its beautiful orange wire netting. I thouhgt what it (or I) did with the Statue of Liberty was pretty interesting...

Central Park

central park

Honestly, I don't have a favorite thing in NY, I fell in love with her period ^^ But still, if I'm forced to point out one thing I would have to say Central Park : just look at it ! It's so amazingly beautiful !

And PS, that last pic : it's Manhattan as seen from the Park -that's right you can't see a n y t h i n g ! Pretty unbelievable considering the average height of the buildings there...

Manhattan by Night

The only real view of pretty much all of Manhattan (except downtown) that I have is by night, pic taken from the top of 30ROCK (watch the show ;))
